'L' for Love

Now 'm behaving like a kid.... there is no limit of my happiness. Finally my LOVE is here, a L series lens from Canon. I remember the first day when I used one of my very good friend Addy's 70-200 L f4 non IS... And since then when ever I needed a tele-lens and even though canon 75-250mm was affordable as well as gives decent results, there was a wild and dominant thought in my mind always, a tele lens means a 'L' lens... no compromise on this. Almost after 3 years of trying my hands on Addy's 'Sattar-doosoo', my own glass 'The White Barrel' is in my hands now which I received just an hour before after numerous unsuccessful attempts in last 2 years. The one I acquired now is exactly same to the one I tried but the dream one is with a little different spec. I want THE 70-200 L f2.8 IS Mark II, one hell of a lens... Hopefully in next 2 years because it costs me a fortune ;)

What next!!! An extender, 1.4 or 1.6... anything will do :D

Pre DSLR Era...

Was digging the external hard drive for some important data few minutes back and suddenly banged to this lying in an unattended corner in a recovery folder which made many old memories alive and made me realize how fast time really flies!!
This is one among the very first few clicks from the newly acquired Canon SX100 IS back in the early 2007. At that point of time 10x optical zoom was really huge. The camera which taught me the basics of digital photography still makes my backpack heavy 24x7 though it does not produce this kind of deadly images these days after travelling all around and extensive use in many extreme weather conditions, still can compete with any expensive gear... All thanks to my cousin Jipy Bhai for carrying it from USA in that ERA.

WINTER is almost here and is knocking at the door...

FALL is History now...

I'm just making a pout while writing this post. Its raining here since morning and also totally wind. Went walking to the school today enjoying(read resisting) the RAIN without an umbrella, thanks to the memory card in my mind as I left it at one of friends place. Really need an 'Extreme III' :(
While returning on my way back at around 6.00, it seems that I was going to be frozen and people will rescue me by breaking me out of a ICE cube. Did I tell you that after Halloween the daylight disappears at around 4.30 PM!!! Hopefully not, anyways.

FALL was really beautiful and I enjoyed the nature he MOST. These kind of weather is really going to be dream for next 3-4 months.

A very good friend of mine, gifted me this at 4 AM in the morning kicking me off the bed. He was on his way to Pune after landing in Mumbai and by-chance I was there in the Bollywood City. Never expected to get a TEDDY as a gift after seeing 25 springs in ma life. Thanks a lot UTKAL for this gift and dropping-in on that day to see me. That 1 hour of laughter and nostalgia session on Mumbai Roads at early hours of morning was really worth it. 3 Cheers to our 12 years of FRIENDSHIP...
