Dadar Flower Market, Mumbai

Being in Mumbai during Ganpati would be incomplete without this visit to Dadar Wholesale Flower Market, I realized this after visiting the place. After seeing all the exotic flowers from around in the flower markets of Delhi, I was thinking to skip this to save an early morning for a landmark. But once there, I was mesmerized by the activity of the place, it was so lively...

Pre DSLR Era...

Was digging the external hard drive for some important data few minutes back and suddenly banged to this lying in an unattended corner in a recovery folder which made many old memories alive and made me realize how fast time really flies!!
This is one among the very first few clicks from the newly acquired Canon SX100 IS back in the early 2007. At that point of time 10x optical zoom was really huge. The camera which taught me the basics of digital photography still makes my backpack heavy 24x7 though it does not produce this kind of deadly images these days after travelling all around and extensive use in many extreme weather conditions, still can compete with any expensive gear... All thanks to my cousin Jipy Bhai for carrying it from USA in that ERA.

Updates from Spring

Spring is on full swing... but a hectic schedule has just kept me busy only to gaze at my lappy all day. I'm not complaining rather work has another kind of hidden FUN in it, after all Easter Study Break it is so can't run away from this ;)

After a long long time 'Lake Side' is explored and not to mention, it was worth after a tiring day. Cherry blossoms that I posted last time are history now and it is the time of Tulips... So beautiful they are with vibrant colors!

Spring is almost here. With the temperature level at 15, 12 hours of daylight, regular peeps of the Sun in-between and with leafless trees loaded with these Cherry Blossoms are just ringing the bell of it's presence.

A Flowery Encounter

The flower shop close to my office was my target from a long time and finally on a Saturday afternoon I managed to spend some quality time there.

Thanks to the owner of the shop, a very humble guy who entertained for nearly 2 hours... :)
